Manufacturing
FondTech produces the majority of scale models employed in its wind tunnels. The technology used to construct these models is directly derived from that seen in full-scale racing technology. Therefore, composite materials are largely used (such as carbon fibre), as is metal and an increasing number of components produced by rapid prototyping.
Our workshop features CNC milling and rapid prototyping machines, composite lamination rooms and various fabrication areas and surface tables, where the components are completed and assembled.
FondTech's manufacturing services include pattern and mould tooling, relevant design preparation and assistance, manufacturing, finishing, inspection, testing and assembly. These services are available for standard scale model production, or can be separately provided to any client that requires individual parts or small series productions.
